Heerenveen will look to make amends for a 2-0 loss to PSV when they take on FC Volendam on Matchday 16. De Superfriezen did suffer the loss in Eindhoven, but their display in the Philips Stadion clash was anything but poor. Goalkeeper Jan Bekkema is a major doubt and he will be assessed ahead of the kick-off, while defender Pawel Bochniewicz remains on the sidelines with a back injury.
Matthias Kohler’s troops, on the other hand, suffered yet another dip in form, with the team extending their losing run to five games at Feyenoord. Even though Volendam were on the verge of sharing the spoils with the Rotterdammers at De Kuip, we are tempted to put our money on Heerenveen, who are on a three-game winning run at home in the Eredivisie. There are no fresh injury worries in the away team ahead of Saturday’s encounter.

Thanks to a top-two finish, the club booked their place in the Champions League.
