Gofferstadion will host Saturday’s Eredivisie game between NEC Nijmegen and Cambuur, the two teams who were beaten by Go Ahead Eagles and Ajax respectively in their last league matches. NEC are safe for now, with the team sitting in top ten ahead of Matchday 21, but boss Rogier Meijer must warn his men against complacency. All Bruijn, Mattson, Roefs, and de Wolf have been struggling with injuries of late.
The visitors, on the other hand, experienced all sorts of problems at the back in the 5-0 defeat to Dusan Tadic and Co, with the team remaining in the ultimate place in the table. Cambuur are desperate to give fans something to cheer about, but given their shaky defence, Nijmegen will not have a better chance than this to get back on course. Mitchel Paulissen is pushing for a start, while both Calvin Mac Intosh and Jamie Jacobs are sidelined with injuries.
