Our prediction for this Netherlands Eredivisie match:
PSV will be aiming to keep their 100% record in the new Eredivisie campaign intact when they host Volendam to their Philips Stadion on Wednesday evening. PSV are eyeing their fourth consecutive league win, and their display in a 6-1 win over Excelsior is certainly giving fans a reason for optimism ahead of the visit of Volendam. In Luuk de Jong’s absence, talented attacker Ismael Saibari should continue to lead the line for the hosts, while summer signing Xavi Simons should keep his place in the starting XI after scoring a brace against the Kralingers.
Het Andere Oranje, on the other hand, did well to beat Twente 1-0 in their last league match, with the team recording their first triumph of the process. Volendam, though, will have a much bigger fish to fry against PSV, who impressed in their last league fixture. There are no fresh injury worries in the away team, while teenage forward Lequincio Zeefuik is pushing for a start.
