Our prediction for this Netherlands Eredivisie match:
Utrecht and AZ Alkmaar face each other in a postponed game at Stadio Galgenwaard. After dropping two points in a 1-1 draw with Fortuna Sittard, Utrecht defeated Emmen 3-2 in their last league match, with the team regaining a much-needed confidence. Rene Hake’s men aim to move a little closer to the Europa League berth, but, no doubt, they would be happy with one point from Sunday’s clash.
AZ, on the other hand, have been in a fine form in the Eredivisie of late, with the team eyeing their fourth consecutive league win. Rene Neelissen’s troops have been scoring goals for fun in December, and seeing that Utrecht looked sharp up front in the triumph over Emmen, we are tempted to put our money on over 2.5 goals. In each of their previous three meetings in the Dutch top flight over 2.5 goals have been netted.

Highlighted Player (Willem Janssen):

After starting his senior career at VVV-Venlo, Willem Janssen joined fellow Dutch club Roda JC in 2007. The 186-cm-tall centre-back scored 22 goals in 129 appearances for the Black and Yellows in the Eredivisie, and in 2011 he moved to Twente.
After ending his loan spell with Utrecht in 2014, he signed a permanent deal with the Stadion Galgenwaard outfit, and he has been playing for the club ever since. He scored his first league goal for Utrecht in a 1-1 draw with Zwolle on September 1, 2013. Willem Janseen was born in Nijmegen, Netherlands on July 4, 1986, but he has yet to earn a call-up for the national team. Janssen, though, has two caps with the Netherlands U21 team.
His main position is centre-back, but he is used as both defensive midfielder and central midfielder as well. His preferred foot is right. In the 2015/16 season he helped Utrecht make it to the Dutch Cup final, but Feyenoord proved to be a big catch for them in the title game.
Highlighted Team (AZ):

AZ Alkmaar are a professional football club that play their home matches at AFAS Stadion. The venue was opened on 4 August, 2006 and the construction of the stadium cost €38 million. AFAS Stadion is able to hold 17 023 spectators.
The Cheeseheads were founded on 10 May, 1967 and they won their first trophy in 1981, finishing the season 12 points clear of Dutch giants Ajax. 18 years later AZ clinched their second Eredivisie trophy, with the team finishing the 2008/2009 campaign with 80 points, 11 clear of second-placed Twente. In 1981 the club made it to the UEFA Cup final, but English side Ipswich Town proved to be a big catch for the Dutch team.
AZ’s home kits are red and white and they wear black shirts when playing on the road. The likes of Shota Arveladze, Jozy Altidore, Ron Vlaar, Joris Mathijsen, Graziano Pelle, Simon Poulsen, Moussa Dembele and Sergio Romero are notable footballers who played for AZ in the past.
