Following a 2-2 draw with Go Ahead Eagles, Utrecht will look to return to winning ways when they take on Groningen in Sunday’s matinee. Utrecht are eyeing a spot in the Champions League and we are positive that they will go all guns blazing at the Green and White Army. Both Fraulo and Finnsson are in line for recalls to the starting XI as duo El Karouani – Engwanda failed to impress in the last league match.
Groningen, on the other hand, suffered a dip in form, with the team losing to both Feyenoord and PSV in the last two league matches. As the visitors have been struggling defensively of late, we predict that Utrecht are going to pick up vital three points from Sunday’s showdown.
