Our prediction for this Netherlands Eredivisie match:
Vitesse and Heerenveen face each other in a highly-anticipated game at GelreDome on Matchday 12. Vitesse are enjoying a very successful season, with the team sitting in the second position in the standings, only two points behind league leaders Ajax. The Vitas aim to bounce back from a 2-1 loss to Zwolle, and a win over Heerenveen will see them keep their 100% record on home soil intact.
Germany international Idrissa Toure is sidelined through suspension, but he is not considered a first-team regular. De Superfriezen, on the other hand, did well to hold title-chasing PSV to a 2-2 draw at the weekend. Heerenveen are likely to stick to their attacking style of play, and given Vitesse’s attacking potential, we believe that punters can find value in betting on both teams to score. It has to be noted that 15 goals in total have been netted in the previous three meetings between the two clubs.

Highlighted Team (Heerenveen):

Heerenveen is a Dutch football club that is well known for their white shirts with blue stripes. De Superfriezen (The Super Frisians) play home matches at Abe Lenstra Stadium, which has the capacity of 26,400 people.
Heerenveen have yet to win the Eredivisie title, but they impressed in the 1999/00 season, with the team finishing the process in second position in the standings. Thanks to a top-two finish, the club booked their place in the Champions League. Heerenveen, though, recorded only one in the group stages of the elite competition as they defeated Olympiakos 1-0 at home ground. De Superfizien retain a fierce rivals with Cambuur, and there have always been fireworks in clashes between the two teams.
