Mandemakers Stadion will host Saturday’s football game between RKC Waalwijk and AZ Alkmaar. The Yellow-Blues did well to beat Lommel 4-2 in their last warm-up game, and we are positive that they will stick to their attacking style of play. Cyril Ngonge is no longer part of the team, and, in his absence, a man to keep an eye on in the home team will be Finn Stokkers, who scored five goals in the Eredivisie last term.
AZ Alkmaar, on the other hand, are determined to represent the Netherlands in the Champions League last season. New signing Vangelis Pavlidis is widely expected to make his official AZ debut against RKC. Anyhow, away win should be considered as AZ Alkmaar have never faced difficulties in matches against RKC. In each of the previous six meetings between the two clubs the Cheese Farmers emerged triumphant.

Konstantinos Lamprou is a Greek goalkeeper who plays for Eredivisie club RKC Waalwijk. Kostas is a product of the famous Ajax football academy, but he eventually decided to join Feyenoord football school. The 178-cm-tall shot-stopper continued playing for Feyenoord at senior level, making 14 league appearances for De Trots van Zuid.
During his spell with Feyenoord, Kostas Lamprou played for the likes of Excelsior and Willem II on loan as well. In 2017 he returned to Ajax, but made no more than three appearances in the Eredivisie with the Amsterdammers.
In the 2019/20 season he did not see any game action with Vitesse, and, as a result, he decided to join RKC Waalwijk at the end of the campaign. Born in Athens on September 18, 1991, Konstantinos Lamprou has 14 caps for the Greece U21 team. He has yet to make his debut with the senior team. His preferred foot is left and he wears the No. 31 shirt at RKC Waalwijk.

AZ Alkmaar are a professional football club that play their home matches at AFAS Stadion. The venue was opened on 4 August, 2006 and the construction of the stadium cost €38 million. AFAS Stadion is able to hold 17 023 spectators.
The Cheeseheads were founded on 10 May, 1967 and they won their first trophy in 1981, finishing the season 12 points clear of Dutch giants Ajax. 18 years later AZ clinched their second Eredivisie trophy, with the team finishing the 2008/2009 campaign with 80 points, 11 clear of second-placed Twente. In 1981 the club made it to the UEFA Cup final, but English side Ipswich Town proved to be a big catch for the Dutch team.
