Zwolle take on Twente at their MAC³PARK Stadion in the opening match of the new Eredivisie campaign. Zwolle have suffered a loss in each of their last three warm-up games, losing to the likes of Kaizer Chiefs, Rayo Vallecano, and Portsmouth, meaning that they are low on confidence ahead of Sunday’s clash. Dylan Vente is no longer part of the team after joining Heerenveen in the summer transfer window.
The Reds, on the other hand, aim to recover from a pre-season defeat to Udinese and seeing that Zwolle suit them, away win should be considered. The club chiefs have signed permanent deals with the likes of Kristian Hlynsson, Robin Propper, Stav Lemkin, Guilherme Peixoto, and Thomas van den Belt in the summer. In their last meeting at the venue, the two teams played out a 1-1 draw, but we are tempted to bet on Twente this time out.
