Our prediction for this Norway Eliteserien match:
Having survived Stromsgodset at the weekend, Tromso will look to escape the danger zone when they face Kristiansund on Matchday 16. Talented forward Lasse Selvag Nordas has been producing excellent showings in Eliteserien of late, meaning that the opposition back-line should have the 22-year-old at bay. All Jacob Haugaard, Vegard Erlien, and Miika Koskela are out of contention with injuries for the home side.
The visitors, on the other hand, aim to recover from a 2-0 loss to Viking, but given their poor away record (1-2-5) in the 2024 season, home win should be considered. Even though Amund Skiri has a luxury to field the best possible side against Tromso, we are tempted to place our bets on the hosts this time out. The 46-year-old tactician should stick to the 4-1-4-1 formation, with Hilmir Mikaelsson up front as a lone centre-forward. In their last meeting at the venue Tromso defeated Kristiansund 2-1.
