Our prediction for this Portugal League Cup match:
Buoyed by a 2-1 win over Penafiel, Moreirense will look to give fans yet another reason for celebration when they face Estrella on Sunday afternoon. Os Verdes e Brancos showed character in the come-from-behind triumph over Penafiel, and, no doubt, they are brimming with confidence ahead of the visit of Estrella. Both Steven Petkov and Andre Luis are eyeing spots in the starting XI after the duo managed to score from the bench in the Group C opener.
Meanwhile, Angel Luis’ men failed to claim a major scalp in their opener, with the team losing to star-studded Benfica on home soil (2-3). Since Estrella are not regarded as good travellers, we predict that Moreirense are going to pick up all three points from Sunday’s showdown. As for the visiting team, Gustavo Henrique should be recalled to the starting XI after finding the net in the defeat to Benfica.
Highlighted Player (Ibrahima Camara):
Born in Conakry, Guinea, on January 25, 1999, Ibrahima Camara is a midfielder who plays for Moreirense in Portuguese Primeira Liga. Ibrahima Camara is a product of Universal Soccer Academy, but in 2016 he was spotted by Braga scouts.
After joining the Braga youth team, he started playing for the reserve team in the 2018/2019 season. The Guinea international scored three goals in 17 appearances for Braga 2 before moving to Moreirense in 2019. Ibrahima Camara made his Primeira Liga debut on February 17, 2019, in a 2-0 win over Tondela.
Speaking of his international career, Camara made his debut for the Guinea national football team in a 3-2 defeat to Chile on October 13, 2019. It has to be noted that he found the net for Guinea on his debut. Ibrahima wears the number 7 shirt at Moreirense, and his preferred foot is right. His main position is central midfield.
