Our prediction for this Portugal Primeira Liga match:
Famalicao will look to recover from a 2-1 loss to Sporting CP when they face Chaves on Sunday evening. Famalicao failed to extend their winning run to four games at the weekend, but they are still in the race for a spot in the Conference League. Zaydou Youssouf is pushing for a start, while both Penetra and Rodrigues are back from suspensions.
Chaves, on the other hand, aim to build on a hard-fought 1-0 win over Casa Pia. Os Valentes aim to overtake Famalicao in 7th place in the standings, but beating Joao Sousa’s troops on the road is easier said than done. In the first half of the season Famalicao defeated Chaves 2-0 and yet another low-scoring encounter is on the horizon. As for the visiting side, there are no fresh injury worries ahead of the trip to Vila Nova de Famalicao.
