Porto will be aiming to overtake Benfica in top position when they take on Vitoria Guimaraes on the last day of the season. The Dragons look unstoppable at the moment and they are seen as hot favourites to win Saturday’s game as well. A man to keep an eye on in the home team will be Mehdi Taremi, who scored four goals in a 4-2 win over Famalicao, while midfielder Joao Mario remains in the recovery room with a muscle problem.

Portugal defeated France in the title game and Pepe played an important role in Fernando Santos’ team in the Euro 2016 final. The Real Madrid defender was born in Maceio, Brazil on 26 February, 1983.

Os Vimaranenses did well to win Taca de Portugal in the 2012/2013 season, wi the team beating Benfica in the final of the domestic cup.
Vitoria Guimaraes finished the 2016/2017 Primeira Liga campaign in fourth place in the standings and, as a result, they booked their place in the Europa League qualifiers.
