Our prediction for this Portugal Primeira Liga match:
Estadio do Rio Ave will host Saturday’s football game between Rio Ave and Famalicao, the two teams whose main goal is to secure the Primeira Liga survival. Rio Ave aim to put an end to their three-match winless run, but this game will be anything but a walk in the park for the home side. There are no fresh injury worries in the home team, but goalkeeper Jhonatan continues to miss out with a thigh injury.
Famalicao, meanwhile, defeated Farense thanks to Jhonder Cadiz’s goal before the international break. The Venezuela forward is widely expected to return to the starting XI, while midfielder Theo Fonseca remains on the sidelines with an ACL problem. Anyhow, the share of spoils is on the cards at Estadio do Rio Ave as Os Vilacondenses are tough to beat at home. In their last meeting in the Portuguese top flight the two sides played out a 2-2 draw.
