Our prediction for this Portugal Primeira Liga match:
Sunday’s football game between Sporting CP and Boavista will bring down the curtain on the Primeira Liga round 26. The Lions aim to build on a thrilling 3-0 win over Arouca and they are seen as hot favourites to beat Boavista at their Estadio Jose Alvalade. With no fresh injury worries to report, Ruben Amorim is unlikely to make changes to the team that defeated Arouca at the weekend.
Ricardo Paiva’s men, on the other hand, failed to win the previous four away games in the national championship and given their poor record at “Jose Alvalade”, anything but a routine home win would be a big surprise. It has to be noted that Sporting defeated Boavista in each of their last 15 meetings in Lisbon in all competitions. As for the away side, Miguel Reisinho is widely expected to return to the starting XI after scoring as a substitute in the triumph over Moreirense at the weekend.
Highlighted Player (Sebastian Coates):
Born in Montevideo, Uruguay, on October 7, 1990, Sebastian Coates is a 196-cm-tall defender who plays for Sporting CP in Primeira Liga. Coates is the product of the hometown club Nacional, and it has to be noted that he scored eight goals in 60 appearances for the capital club in the national championship.
After ending his spell with English club Sunderland, the Uruguay international moved to Portugal, signing a loan deal with Sporting CP in January 2016. He signed a permanent contract with the Lions in February 2017.
Speaking of his international career, Sebastian Coastes made his full Uruguay debut against Chile at the 2011 Copa America. La Celeste won the trophy, with the team beating Paraguay 3-0 in the final of the competition at Estadio Monumental Antonio Vespucio Liberti in Buenos Aires. Coates wears the number 4 shirt at Sporting CP, and his preferred foot is right.

Famous Fellow city club Porto are considered Boavista’s main rivals and the two teams face each other in O Derby da Invicta and there have always been fireworks in clashes between the two local rivals.
