Our prediction for this Portugal Primeira Liga match:
In-form Sporting CP will look to extend their winning run to four games in all competitions when they host Famalicao to their Estadio Jose Alvalade on Saturday evening. The Lions are determined to defend their Primeira Liga trophy, but their local rivals Benfica are still breathing down their neck. As always, a man to watch in the home team will be Viktor Gyokeres, who scored a brace in a 3-1 win over Casa Pia. Both Goncalo Inacio and Morten Hjulmand miss out through suspension.
Famalicao, on the other hand, proved their worth in a hard-fought 1-0 win over Rio Ave, but given their three-game losing run at “Jose Alvalade”, anything but a routine home victory would be a big surprise. Head coach Ricardo is back for the visiting side, while there are no fresh injury worries in his team ahead of the trip to Lisbon.
