Our prediction for this Portugal Primeira Liga match:
Sporting CP will be aiming to make amends for a 4-3 loss to their bitter local rivals Benfica when they take on Maritimo on the last day of the season. The Lions did well to win their first league title since 2002, and, no doubt, they want to put icing on the cake on a very successful season. Even though Spain midfielder Pedro Porro remains in the recovery room, we are tempted to put our money on the newly-promoted champions, who are eyeing their 13th home win of the process.
Maritimo, on the other hand, did well to secure the Primeira Liga survival thanks to a goalless draw with Vitoria Guimaraes. Considering that Maritimo footballers are already on vacation, we are tempted to put our money on the Lions, who aim to prove their worth once again. All Macedo, Milson, Alipour, and Beltrame are pushing for a start for the visiting team.
