There will be fireworks when Brentford and Crystal Palace face each other in a small London derby on Saturday. The Bees played out a thrilling 4-4 draw with Wolfsburg in their last friendly game and they are likely to adopt yet another attack-minded approach against Palace. New signing Igor Thiago misses out with injury, while fellow summer recruit Fabio Carvalho should make his official Brentford debut in the local derby. Ivan Toney is widely expected to lead the line for the hosts.
The Eagles, on the other hand, enjoyed a successful preseason, with the team beating the likes of Crawley, Wolves, and West Ham, while sharing the spoils with Charlton and Nantes. Right winger Michael Olise is no longer part of the team, but the club chiefs managed to keep hold of Eberechi Eze and Jean-Philippe Mateta. Given the attacking potentials of the two sides, both teams to score seems like the best option for the London derby.

Eberechi Eze is a talented football player who was born in Greenwich, England on June 29, 1998. Eze started his youth career at Millwall and in the summer of 2016 he moved to Queens Park Rangers, signing a one-year contract with the capital club.
Eze scored 4 goals in 42 appearances for the Hoops in the 2018/2019 Championship campaign, while providing 4 assists for his teammates.His main position is attacking midfield, but he is capable of playing as both right and left midfielder as well. Eze is a footballer of Nigerian descent, but he has yet to make his debut for the Super Eagles in international matches.
Given his place of birth, the 173-cm tall midfielder was eligible to play for the England U20 team and he made his debut for the Three Lions on October 11, 2018 in a 2-1 victory over Italy. His preferred foot is right.
