Our prediction for this Premier League match:
Crystal Palace and Aston Villa face each other at Selhurst Park in what is expected to be a close Premier League encounter. The Eagles aim to build on a 2-0 win over Fulham, but bear in mind that they have been struggling at home of late, losing to both Brentford and Everton at their Selhurst Park. All Chadi Riad, Joel Ward, and Cheick Doucoure are out of contention with injuries, while midfielder Daichi Kamada is pushing for a recall.
The Villans, meanwhile, came from behind to beat Chelsea 2-1 at the weekend, with Marco Asensio clinching the comeback with two goals. Centre-back Tyrone Mings should be fit for Tuesday’s encounter as well as midfielder Morgan Rodgers, while all Amadou Onana, Boubacar Kamara, and Pau Torres remain in the treatment room. In their last meeting in London, Crystal Palace hammered Aston Villa 5-0, but we are tempted to put our money on draw this time out as the two sides seem to be evenly matched.
Highlighted Player (Jean-Philippe Mateta):

A talented French youngster Jean-Philippe Mateta worked his way up through football’s less glamorous landscapes plying his trade at local amateur sides and third-tier outfits before Ligue 1 giants Lyon took notice of his 11 goals in 22 matches and brought him to the big league.
Having failed to make it into the first team in a debut season with Les Gones, Mateta was shipped out to Le Havre, leading the club to promotion play-offs. Bundesliga side Mainz took notice of his ability and came calling in the summer of 2018 after he bagged 17 goals in 35 league matches. An imposing physical presence at his 192cm, Mateta is a mobile forward and a decent dribbler who can finish with both of his feet.
Having worked his way up from the very bottom, Jean-Philippe Mateta is a committed individual determined to make a name for himself. His impressive goalscoring record got rewarded in the form of France U19 call-up in 2017.
Highlighted Team (Aston Villa):

Aston Villa is one of the three clubs that dropped to the Championship at the end of the 2015/2016 Premier League campaign. The Villans host their rivals at Villa Park, the stadium that was opened in 1897 and its’ capacity is 42,682. However, it has to be noted that the highest attendance recorded at the stadium was 76,588 when Aston Villa faced Derby County in the FA Cup back in 1946.
Aston Villa’s fiercest rivals are Birmingham City and West Bromwich Albion. Nonetheless, the rivalry between Aston Villa and Wolves and Coventry City is big as well. Aston Villa have won seven First Division (Premier League) trophies, with the team clinching seven FA Cup trophies as well.
The team’s biggest success, though, came in 1982 when they won the European Cup. The Villans defeated Bayern Munich (1-0) in the title game and Peter Withe was named the man of the match.
