Our prediction for this Premier League match:
Buoyed by a 3-0 win over Aston Villa, Crystal Palace will look to give fans yet another reason to celebrate when they face Sunderland on Matchday 4. The Eagles aim to remain undefeated in the new Premier League season and they are surely capable of matching Sunderland at their Selhurst Park. Following Eberechi Eze’s departure, a man to watch in the home team will be Ismaila Sarr. Midfielder Cheick Doucoure remains in the recovery room.
The Black Cats, on the other hand, continue with their old habit of producing fine displays at their Stadium of Light, while struggling on the road. As Sunderland are not regarded as good travellers, we predict that Palace will pick up all three points from Saturday’s game. All O’Nien, Hjelde, Cirkin, Alese, and Ballard are out of contention for the visiting team, while Wilson Isidor is pushing for a start after scoring the winner against Burnley.
Highlighted Player (Jean-Philippe Mateta):

A talented French youngster Jean-Philippe Mateta worked his way up through football’s less glamorous landscapes plying his trade at local amateur sides and third-tier outfits before Ligue 1 giants Lyon took notice of his 11 goals in 22 matches and brought him to the big league.
Having failed to make it into the first team in a debut season with Les Gones, Mateta was shipped out to Le Havre, leading the club to promotion play-offs. Bundesliga side Mainz took notice of his ability and came calling in the summer of 2018 after he bagged 17 goals in 35 league matches. An imposing physical presence at his 192cm, Mateta is a mobile forward and a decent dribbler who can finish with both of his feet.
Having worked his way up from the very bottom, Jean-Philippe Mateta is a committed individual determined to make a name for himself. His impressive goalscoring record got rewarded in the form of France U19 call-up in 2017.
Highlighted Team (Sunderland):

Sunderland are a professional football club that have been playing their home games at the Stadium of Light since 1997. The capacity of the stadium is 49,000, but before expansion the original ground capacity was 42,000. Red and White shirts are Sunderland’s trademark and the club’s fiercest rivals are Newcastle United. The two local rivals have been contesting in the Tyne-Wear derby since 1898 and there have always been fireworks in what is one of the greatest derbies in English football. Sunderland were on the verge of dropping to the Championship in the 2015/2016 Premier League campaign, but experienced tactician Sam Allardyce eventually helped the team avoid relegation.
The Black Cats have won six First Division trophies (now the Premier League), with the team lifting two FA Cup titles. Sunderland won their first FA Cup trophy in 1937, with the team beating Preston North End 3-1 in the title game. The club was founded in 1879 as Sunderland and District Teachers A.F.C.
