Our prediction for this Premier League match:
Everton will try to bounce back from a 1-0 loss to Chelsea when they welcome Ipswich Town to their Goodison Park on Saturday afternoon. The Toffees have suffered a dip in form and it is more than obvious that they head into the season finale with the lack of motivation. Fit-again midfielder Dwight McNeil is pushing for a start, while centre-forward Dominic Calvert-Lewin will be assessed ahead of the kick-off.
The Tractor Boys, on the other hand, failed to secure the Premier League survival. As Ipswich footballers are low on confidence ahead of the trip to Liverpool, Everton will not have a better chance than this to return to winning ways. To make things even worse for the visiting team, defender Benjamin Johnson is banned for the match following his sending-off in a 3-0 loss to Newcastle United. In the first half of the season, Everton defeated Ipswich 2-0 at Portman Road.
Highlighted Player (Abdoulaye Doucouré):

French international midfielder Abdoulaye Doucour is a bundle of raw energy and a player who was voted Watford’s Player of the Season during the 2017/18 campaign. A deep-lying midfielder who takes part in play build-up from behind is a defensive asset who took time to blossom and announce himself at the international stage. He first burst to prominence at Ligue 1 side Rennes in 2012 after a year with the club’s B side and went on to play 75 league matches and score 12 goals.
Watford bought Doucoure in 2016 but sent him on loan to Granada, where he took part in 15 league matches. Determined to prove his worth in the Premier League, the Frenchman of Mali descent wasted no time in grabbing a starting spot under both Marco Silva and Javi Garcia, respectively, upon his return from Spain.
The total of 38 matches played along with 8 goals scored made Doucoure one of the most sought-after assets in the summer of 2018 but the player remained at Vicarage Road despite reported interest from Tottenham Hotspur.
Highlighted Team (Ipswich):

Ipswich Town are an English football club that was formed in 1878. Portman Road has been the home ground of Ipswich Town since 1894 and the capacity of the venue, which was expanded in 2002, is 30,311. The Tractor Boys compete in the Championship, but they used to play in the English Premier League in the past as well. Ipswich Town last appeared in the elite division in the 2001/2002 season.
Ipswich won the FA Cup in 1978, with the team beating Arsenal (1-0) in the title game. However, the club’s biggest success came in 1981 when they outplayed AZ Alkmaar in the UEFA Cup final. It has to be noted that the Tractor Boys have yet to suffer a loss at home ground in the European competitions.
Norwich City are regarded as Ipswich Town’s bitterest rivals and it is well known that the two sides take on each other in the East Anglian derby.
