Everton and Southampton face each other in a highly-anticipated Premier League game at Goodison Park. The Toffees aim to bounce back from a heavy pre-season loss (0-4) to Manchester United, and we are positive that they will leave their hearts on the field. New signings Asmir Begovic and Andros Townsend are pushing for a start, as well as Moise Kean, who ended his loan spell with Ligue 1 giants PSG.
New boss Rafa Benitez should have a full squad to choose from for the opening match of the season. The Saints, on the other hand, continue life without Danny Ings, who joined Aston Villa for a fee of €35.20m. Considering that Southampton are not regarded as good travelers, we are tempted to put our money on Rafa Benitez’s troops. Midfielder William Smallbone should be the only absentee in the away team.

James Rodriguez is an attacking midfielder who plays for Spanish giants Real Madrid. The Colombian superstar played for the likes of Envigado and Banfield at the start of his career and he moved to Europe in 2010, joining Portuguese side Porto for a fee of €5.1 million.
James scored 25 goals in 63 league appearances with the Dragons and in 2013 he joined Monaco. His transfer to the Ligue 1 side was the second most expensive in the history of Portuguese Primeira Liga (€45 million) and he signed a five-year contract with les Rouges et Blancs. The Colombian ace impressed at the 2014 FIFA World Cup and, as a result, Real Madrid chiefs signed him on 22 July, 2014 for an undisclosed fee.
However, reports in Spain suggested that the fee was approximately €80 million. Rodriguez scored 13 goals in 29 league appearances for Real Madrid in the 2014/2015 Primera Division campaign and he was in Gareth Bale’s shadow in the 2015/2016 season. James is well known for his technical skills, his vision and the ability to create goal-scoring opportunities for his teammates.

Southampton are an English football club that have been playing their home games at St Mary's Stadium since 2001. The Saints were based at The Dell in the past and the capacity of Southampton’s new stadium is 32,505. Southampton wear red and white striped shirts and the colour of the team’s away kit is navy and green.
The Saints have yet to win the Premier League trophy, but they did well to clinch the FA Cup title back in 1976, while participating in the final of the prestigious competition in 1900, 1902 and 2003. Southampton outplayed Manchester United in the 1976 FA Cup final and that is probably the club’s greatest victory ever.
