Our prediction for this Premier League match:
Fulham will try to recover from a 2-0 loss to Chelsea when they face Leeds United in the Premier League round 4. The Cottagers are still eyeing their first win of the season and this seems like a nice opportunity for the capital club to return to winning ways. Mexico striker Raul Jimenez is pushing for a start, while there are no fresh injury worries in the home team.
The Whites, on the other hand, head into the match following a goalless draw with Newcastle United. Leeds United, though, are not regarded as good travellers and we do not believe that they are capable of spoiling Fulham’s party at Craven Cottage. Speaking of the visiting side, both Ao Tanaka and Ethan Ampadu are out of contention with injuries. In their last meeting at the venue, two years ago, Fulham defeated Leeds 2-1 and we predict that history is going to repeat this weekend.
Highlighted Player (Bernd Leno):
Bernd Leno is a German goalkeeper who plays for Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen. The 190-cm-tall shoot-stopper started his career at the youth team of SV Germania Bietigheim and he played for VfB Stuttgart during his youth career as well.
After making 56 appearances for Stuttgart II from 2009 to 2011, Bernd Leno started playing for the first-team in the 2011/2012 season. Over the years Leno has established himself as a first-choice goalkeeper at BayArena outfit and he plays for Germany national team as well. The Bayer Leverkusen man made his debut for Germany on May, 29, 2012 in a 3-1 loss to Slovakia.
Bernd Leno represented die Mannschaft at the 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup and it is well known that the Germans won the tournament in Russia. Leno was born in Bietigheim-Bissingen, Germany on March 5, 1992 and it has to be noted that his contract with Bayer Leverkusen should expire on June 30, 2020.
Highlighted Team (Leeds United):
Leeds United is one of the clubs that won the FA Cup. The Whites outplayed Arsenal in the final of the prestigious competition back in 1972, but they clinched the League Cup trophy as well. Leeds United faced the Gunners in the 1967/1968 League Cup final and it has to be noted that Terry Cooper scored the winner for the Whites.
Leeds play their home games at Elland Road and the capacity of the stadium is 37,914. The club was founded in 1919 and they have won three First Division (Premier League) trophies ever since (1968/1969, 1973/1974, 1991/1992). Leeds United made it to the Champions League final in 1975, but they were beaten by Bayern Munich in the title clash.
The Whites were impressive under David O’Leary. The likes of Jonathan Woodgate, Lee Bowyer, Harry Kewell, Mark Viduka and Ian Harte were part of the Elland Road outfit back then and they did well to reach the semis of the Champions League in 2001.
