Our prediction for this Premier League match:
After dropping two points in the Merseyside derby, Liverpool will be looking to return to winning ways when they host Crystal Palace at an empty Anfield. The Reds failed to restart the season in style, but they remained in top position in the standings. Jurgen Klopp’s men are on the right track to win their first Premier League title since 1990. Mohamed Salah missed the Everton game due to the lack of fitness, but the pacey winger is likely to play some part in the midweek clash.
James Milner, who picked up a knock in the Merseyside derby, misses the Crystal Palace game with injury. The Eagles did well to beat Bournemouth on the road at the weekend, but they face an uphill task in the Anfield showdown. Seeing that Jurgen Klopp can count on key players for Wednesday’s match, home win should be considered.
