Our prediction for this Premier League match:
There will be fireworks when Manchester City and Mancchester United take on each other in the Manchester derby on Sunday afternoon. The Citizens were having their ups and downs in the first half of the season, but they look unstoppable in the Premier League in 2021. Pep Guardiola’s troops aim to cement top position in the standings, and we are positive that they will go for a win in Sunday’s showdown.
Since summer signing Nathan Ake should be the only absentee in Pep Guardiola’s team, home win should be considered. The Red Devils, on the other hand, dropped two points in a goalless draw with Crystal Palace on Tuesday evening, and we do not believe that they are capable of melting Man City’s advantage in the standings. Both Pogba and Mata remain in the recovery room, but Martial should be fully fit to face the Citizens.
Highlighted Player (Raheem Sterling):
Raheem Sterling is an English professional footballer plays for Manchester City in the Premier League. The winger who is known for his lightning pace and dribbling ability started his youth career as a five-year-old playing for Alpha and Omega. In 2003, he joined QPR's youth academy and spent seven years with them before signing for Liverpool in 2010.
At Liverpool, Sterling made his professional debut, coming on as a substitute in a league match against Wigan Athletic on the 24th of March, 2012. He went on to make over 120 appearances in all competitions for the Reds, scoring 23 goals and providing 25 assists in the process. In August 2015, Sterling joined Manchester City on a transfer worth 49 million pounds, which made the most expensive English footballer at the time.
Since signing for the Citizens, Sterling has enjoyed a trophy-laden career winning every English domestic trophy available and has molded himself into one of the best players in the league. Sterling, who was born in Kingston, Jamaica, holds both the English and Jamaican citizenship but chose to represent England at the International stage. The 24-year-old has capped at every youth level and won his first cap for the senior team on the 14th of November, 2012. He has since featured 53 times for the Three Lions.
Highlighted Team (Manchester United):
Over the years Manchester United have established themselves as one of the greatest clubs in world football. The Red Devils have won three European Cup (Champions League) trophies and they have clinched no less than 20 Premier League titles.
A number of top-class players were part of Manchester United in the past, but, no doubt, the club’s biggest legend is coach Sir Alex Ferguson, who was in charge of the team for 26 years. During Alex Ferguson’s spell at Old Trafford the club won a number of trophies, but the Red Devils have been struggling in all competitions ever since he retired. Louis van Gaal helped Manchester United win the FA Cup trophy in the 2015/2016 season, with Jese Lingard scoring the winner in the 2-1 triumph over Crystal Palace at Wembley Stadium.
The likes of Bobby Charlton, Paul Scholes, Roy Keane, Ruud van Nistelrooy, Wayne Rooney, Cristiano Ronaldo, George Best and Eric Cantona are the football stars that graced Old Trafford for Manchester United.
