Our prediction for this Premier League match:
Manchester United play host to Brighton at their Old Trafford in the opening match of the season. The Red Devils were anything but impressive in pre-season, and, no doubt, new boss Erik ten Hag faces an uphill task in the 2022/2023 Premier League campaign. As always, a man to watch in the home team will be Portugal superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, while Christian Eriksen is likely to make his EPL debut with Man Utd against Brighton.
There are no injury worries in the home team ahead of Sunday’s clash. The Seagulls, on the other hand, are eager to claim a major scalp on Matchday 1, but they will have to do it without key midfielder Yves Bissouma, who signed a deal with Spurs in the summer. Anyhow, the share of spoils is on the cards as Man Utd do not seem to be at their sharpest ahead of the season opener. Jakub Moder misses out with injury for the visiting side.
