Our prediction for this Premier League match:
After cruising past Sheffield United 8-0 at Bramall Lane, Newcastle United will look to move closer to the Champions League berth when they host Burnley to their St. James’ Park on Saturday afternoon. The Magpies have regained a much-needed confidence and we are positive that they will go all guns blazing at the Clarets. A man to keep an eye on in the home team will be Brazil midfielder Bruno Guimaraes, who opened his goal-scoring account at the weekend, while all Krafth, Joelington, and Willock remain on the sidelines with injuries.
The visitors, on the other hand, produced an under-par performance in a 1-0 loss to Man Utd and given their difficulties on the road, anything but a routine home win would be a big surprise. To make things even worse for the visiting team, key attacker Lyle Foster continues to miss out through suspension.
Highlighted Player (Sandro Tonali):
After starting his youth career at Piacenza back in 2009, Sandro Tonali moved to Brescia three years later. The 181-cm-tall defender has been playing for le Rondinelle ever since and it has to be noted that he made his debut with the Stadio Mario Rigamonti outfit on August 26, 2017 in a 2-1 defeat to Avellino.
Sandro Tonali scored his first ever league goal for Brescia in a 4-2 loss to Salernitana on April 28, 2018. The talented midfielder, who was born in Lodi on May 8, 2000, represents Italy U21 team in international matches.
He made his debut with the Italy U21 national team on June 19, 2019 in a 1-0 defeat to Poland. His main position is defensive midfielder, but he is used as a central midfielder as well. Sandro’s preferred foot is right and his contract with Brescia should expire on June 30, 2021.
Highlighted Team (Burnley):
Burnley were one of the founding members of the Football League back in 1888. The Clarets did remarkably well to win the FA Cup trophy back in 1914 and the club owners have been trying to bring glory days back to Turf Moor ever since.
Burnley defeated Liverpool in the 1913/1914 FA Cup final and, no doubt, this is regarded as the greatest achievement in the club’s history. The Clarets finished the 2015/2016 Championship campaign in top position in the standings and, as a result, they will participate in the English Premier League in the 2016/2017 season.
Burnley play their home games at Turf Moor and the capacity of the stadium is 21,401. The Clarets have won two Community Shield trophies so far, in 1960 and 1973, but they have yet to clinch the Premier League title. Claret is the dominant colour of the team’s home shirts.
