Our prediction for this Premier League match:
Carrow Road will host Saturday’s football game between Norwich City and Aston Villa, the two teams who were beaten by Liverpool and Man Utd respectively at the weekend. The Canaries are stuck at the bottom of the table, but their display in the loss to CR7 and Co. was anything but poor. Norwich are eyeing their third win of the season, and we are positive that they will leave their hearts on the field against the Villans.
Grant Hanley should be fit for the match despite limping off with a shoulder injury against Man Utd, while Byram, Zimmermann, Rashica, and Tzolis remain in the recovery room. The Villans, on the other hand, have been showings signs of improvement under new boss Steven Gerrard. Villa aim to bounce back from the 1-0 loss to Liverpool, but seeing that the hosts want this win more than the visitors, home win should be considered. As for the away side, both Bailey and Traore are injured.
Highlighted Player (Grant Hanley):
Grant Hanley is Scottish footballer who plays for Norwich City as defender. Hanley was born in Dumfries, Scotland, on November 20, 1991 and he started his youth career at Queen of the South. After ending his spells with Crewe Alexandra and Rangers, the Scottish player joined English club Blackburn Rovers, where he started his senior career.
After scoring eight goals in 183 appearances for the Riversiders in league matches, he moved to fellow English club Newcastle United in July, 2016 for an undisclosed fee. Grant Hanley, though, made no more than 10 appearances for Newcastle United in the Championship before joining Norwich City. The 191-cm-tall defender made his full international debut for Scotland against Wales on in May, 2011.
He scored his first goal for the Scotland national football team in a 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Wales. His contract with Norwich City should expire on June 30, 2021.
Highlighted Team (Aston Villa):
Aston Villa is one of the three clubs that dropped to the Championship at the end of the 2015/2016 Premier League campaign. The Villans host their rivals at Villa Park, the stadium that was opened in 1897 and its’ capacity is 42,682. However, it has to be noted that the highest attendance recorded at the stadium was 76,588 when Aston Villa faced Derby County in the FA Cup back in 1946.
Aston Villa’s fiercest rivals are Birmingham City and West Bromwich Albion. Nonetheless, the rivalry between Aston Villa and Wolves and Coventry City is big as well. Aston Villa have won seven First Division (Premier League) trophies, with the team clinching seven FA Cup trophies as well.
The team’s biggest success, though, came in 1982 when they won the European Cup. The Villans defeated Bayern Munich (1-0) in the title game and Peter Withe was named the man of the match.
