Our prediction for this Premier League match:
Tottenham will look to keep their Premier League hopes alive when they host Burnley to their Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Matchday 37. Spurs have no other option but to go all guns blazing at the Clarets, but they will have to prove their worth on the field. Antonio Conte can count on key players for Sunday’s clash, while all Skipp, Tanganga, and Doherty remain in the recovery room.
Burnley, on the other hand, are fighting hard to secure the Premier League survival, but seeing that Tottenham are a real force to be reckoned with at home, we do not believe that the visitors are capable of grabbing something from the match. In the first half of the season Burnley defeated Spurs at Turf Moor, meaning that the hosts are hungry for revenge. Both Matej Vydra and Jay Rodriguez are major doubts, while Mee, Westwood, and Gudmundsson remain in the recovery room.
Highlighted Player (Steven Bergwijn):
Steven Bergwin is a product of ASC Waterwijk football school, but in 2009 he was spotted by Ajax scouts. In 2011 he moved to PSG and he continued playing for the club’s reserve team at senior level. He made his debut with the senior team on May 20, 2015 in a 2-0 win over Heracles.
Over the years the Dutch footballer born in Amsterdam on October 8, 1997, has established himself as a first-team regular at PSV, earning a call-up for the national team as well. Steven Bergwijn made his Netherlands debut on October 12, 2018 in a 3-0 win over Germany. His main position is left winger, but he is used as both right winger and centre-forward as well.
His preferred foot is right and it has to be noted that his parents are of Suriname descent, he has a dual citizenship. Bergwijn scored 14 goals in 33 appearances for PSV in the 2018/2019 Eredivisie season.
Highlighted Team (Burnley):
Burnley were one of the founding members of the Football League back in 1888. The Clarets did remarkably well to win the FA Cup trophy back in 1914 and the club owners have been trying to bring glory days back to Turf Moor ever since.
Burnley defeated Liverpool in the 1913/1914 FA Cup final and, no doubt, this is regarded as the greatest achievement in the club’s history. The Clarets finished the 2015/2016 Championship campaign in top position in the standings and, as a result, they will participate in the English Premier League in the 2016/2017 season.
Burnley play their home games at Turf Moor and the capacity of the stadium is 21,401. The Clarets have won two Community Shield trophies so far, in 1960 and 1973, but they have yet to clinch the Premier League title. Claret is the dominant colour of the team’s home shirts.
