Our prediction for this Premier League match:
There will be fireworks when West Ham United and Tottenham go head to head in the London derby. The Hammers did well to crush Nottingham Forest 3-0 before the international break, with the team regaining a much-needed confidence, but they do not want to stop now. Fit-again winger Crysencio Summerville is pushing for a start as well as Callum Wilson, while there are no fresh injury worries in the home team. Luis Guilherme remains in the recovery room.
Thomas Frank’s men, on the other hand, are eager to bounce back from a 1-0 loss to Bournemouth, but beating West Ham at London Stadium is easier said than done. Even though Tottenham summer signing Randal Kolo Muani is widely expected to make his Premier League debut against West Ham, we are tempted to place our bets on draw as the Hammers are tough to beat at home. All James Maddison, Dejan Kulusevski, and Yves Bissouma are out of contention with injuries for the visiting team.
Highlighted Player (Tomas Soucek):
Tomas Soucek is a Czech Republic international who plays for both Slavia Prague and the Czech national team. Soucek is a product of Slavia Prague football academy and after spending several years at the likes of Viktoria Zizkov and Slovan Liberec, he returned to the Sinobo Stadium outfit in the 2017/2018 season.
Tomas Soucek has established himself as a first-team regular at Slavia Prague and he made his debut with Czech Republic on November 15, 2016 in a friendly against Denmark. The 192-cm tall midfielder has 13 caps for Czech Republic U21 team as well.
His main position on the field is defensive midfield, but he is used as central midfielder and centre-back as well. Tomas Soucek was born in Havlickuv Brod on February 27, 1995. His preferred foot is right and his contract with Slavia Prague should expire on June 30, 2024.
Highlighted Team (Tottenham):
Tottenham Hotspur are a professional football club based in North London. Spurs host their rivals at White Hart Lane and the capacity of the stadium is 36,284. Tottenham won the Premier League (First Division) trophy in 1950/1951 and 1960/1961 and despite producing terrific displays in the 2015/2016 campaign Mauro Pochettino’s team eventually finished the season in third place in the standings.
Tottenham’s bitter rivals are Arsenal, but Chelsea and West Ham United are regarded as the team’s fierce opponents as well. Spurs have won eight FA Cup trophies, with the team also lifting the 1962/1963 UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup title.
Tottenham Hotspur hammered Atletico Madrid in the final of the competition back then (5-1). The likes of David Ginola, Sol Campbell, Teddy Sheringham, Jurgen Klinsmann, Gary Lineker, Luka Modric, Robbie Keane and Gareth Bale are star players that used to play for the White Hart Lane outfit in the past. The colour of Tottenham Hotspur’s home kit is white.
