Our prediction for this Primera Division match:
Estadio Mendizorrotza will host Saturday’s football game between Deportivo Alaves and Villarreal, the two teams with totally different ambitions for the season finale. The Basques want to escape the relegation zone, while the Yellow Submarine are eyeing a spot in European competitions. Experienced forward Kike Garcia limped off with injury in a 1-1 draw with Mallorca, with Toni Martinez likely to replace him in the starting XI.
Villarreal, on the other hand, aim to build on a hard-fought 1-0 win over Rayo Vallecano. The Yellow Submarine want to stay in the Champions League berth as five teams will represent Spain in the elite competition next season, but beating Alaves in Vitoria is easier said than done. Anyhow, both teams to score betting option should be considered as both Villarreal and Alaves will go for a win in Saturday’s encounter. Both Gerard Moreno and Ilias Akhomach are out of contention with injuries.
