Celta Vigo will look to recover from an unlucky loss to Barcelona when they take on Deportivo Alaves on Matchday 7. Os Celeste dropped a two-goal advantage in the defeat to Barca, but the fact that they created a number of opportunities to score on the break is giving fans a reason for optimism ahead of Thursday’s showdown. Anastasios Douvikas is pushing for a rare start after getting his name on the scoresheet at the weekend, while Franco Cervi continues to miss out with injury.
Alaves, on the other hand, failed to impress in the Basque derby against Athletic Club (0-2) and given their difficulties in front of goal, we believe that there is a big value in betting on the Galician outfit. Forward Giuliano Simeone remains on the sidelines with a sprained ankle, but he should be the only absentee in the away team.
