Our prediction for this Primera Division match:
Celta Vigo play host to Espanyol at their Estadio de Balaidos in what is expected to be an interesting La Liga opener. Os Celeste finished the last Primera Division campaign in 11th place, and, no doubt, they are eyeing a top-ten finish this time out. A man to watch in the home team will be experienced attacker Iago Aspas, while Sweden rising star Williot Swedberg is likely to make his La Liga debut against Espanyol.
Los Periquitos, on the other hand, played out a goalless draw with Napoli in their last warm-up game, and they are surely capable of matching Celta in Galicia. A close encounter is on the cards at Balaidos, and we believe that punters from all around the globe can find value in betting on draw. Os Celeste defenders should have Raul de Tomas at bay as the club chiefs managed to keep hold of Espanyol’s top scorer in the summer transfer window.
Highlighted Player (Hugo Mallo):

Hugo Mallo is a Spanish footballer who plays for Celta Vigo as a full back. Mallo, who is a capable of playing at centre back if needed, was born in Marin on 22 June, 1991 and he has been playing for Os Celeste since 2009.
During his youth career Hugo Mallo played for the likes of Porvir and Pontevedra, but he made the biggest progress at Celta Vigo. The Celta defender has three caps for Spain U21 team and he played for the U19 and the U20 teams as well in the past. On 9 January, 2013, Mallo suffered a serious knee injury and, as a result, he was forced to miss the rest of the season.
The right-footed player has a contract with Celta Vigo which expires on 30 June, 2019. You should bear in mind that he scored one goal in 34 appearances for the Galician outfit in the 2015/2016 Primera Division campaign. In the 2014/2015 campaign he scored four goals for Celta in the national championship.
Highlighted Team (Espanyol):

Espanyol are a Catalan club that plays in Spanish La Liga. Espanyol were founded in 1900 and their original name was Sociedad Espanola de Football. In 1901 the Catalan club changed its name to Club Espanol de Futbol. Los Periquitos used to play in bright yellow shirts in the past, but current colour of the team’s home kit is blue and white.
Espanyol’s fiercest rivals are Barcelona and the two teams face each other in the Catalan derby (Derbi barceloni). Espanyol have always been in Barca’s shadow, but it has to be noted that los Periquitos have won four Copa del Rey (Spanish Cup trophies).
The likes of Raul Tamudo, Jose Maria, Antonio Argiles and Mauricio Pochettino are players with most appearances for the Catalan outfit. Espanyol play their home games at Estadio Cornella-El Prat and the capacity of the stadium is 40,500. Los Periquitos have never participated in the Champions League.
