Following a 2-2 draw with Sevilla, Celta Vigo will be aiming to return to winnings ways in La Liga when they take on Rayo Vallecano on Matchday 23. Os Celeste want to move closer to the Europa League berth, and they are likely to go all guns blazing at los Vallecanos. Iago Aspas is not getting any older, and the former Liverpool attacker, who found the net in the last league match, is likely to prove a handful for the opposition back-line.
Renato Tapia is a major doubt after representing Peru in the World Cup qualifiers. The capital club, on the other hand, continue with their habit of producing much better showings at home than on the travels. Colombia international Radamel Falcao is rated doubtful for the visitors, while January signing Mamadou Sylla is widely expected to make his Rayo Vallecano debut against Celta. Anyhow, home win should be considered as the Galicians impressed in the draw with Sevilla.

Hugo Mallo is a Spanish footballer who plays for Celta Vigo as a full back. Mallo, who is a capable of playing at centre back if needed, was born in Marin on 22 June, 1991 and he has been playing for Os Celeste since 2009.
During his youth career Hugo Mallo played for the likes of Porvir and Pontevedra, but he made the biggest progress at Celta Vigo. The Celta defender has three caps for Spain U21 team and he played for the U19 and the U20 teams as well in the past. On 9 January, 2013, Mallo suffered a serious knee injury and, as a result, he was forced to miss the rest of the season.
The right-footed player has a contract with Celta Vigo which expires on 30 June, 2019.
