Our prediction for this Primera Division match:
After failing to win first three games of the new season, Espanyol did remarkably well to come from behind and beat Eibar on the road in their last league match. Los Periquitos proved their worth in the triumph over the Basque outfit, with the team regaining a much-needed confidence. The Catalan outfit, though, will have a much bigger fish to fry against Real Sociedad, but seeing that Imanol Alguacil’s troops are not regarded as good travelers, home win should be considered.
A man to keep an eye on in the home team will be Facundo Ferreyra, who found the net in the 2-1 win over los Armeros, but it has to be noted that the hosts will be without suspended centre-back Naldo. In their last meeting in Catalonia Espanyol defeated Real Sociedad 2-0 and we predict that the history is going to repeat itself.
