Monday’s football game between Getafe and Cadiz will bring down the curtain on day 12 of the new La Liga campaign. Los Azulones have drawn each of their last five league matches, but they are seen as favourites to beat the Yellow Submarine in Madrid. Experienced forward Jaime Mata is widely expected to return to the starting XI, while all Gaston Alvarez, Damian Suarez, Mauro Arambarri, and Enes Unal remain in the treatment room.
Cadiz, on the other hand, played out a 2-2 draw with Sevilla in a small Andalusian derby at the weekend, but given their poor away record in the new La Liga campaign, we predict that the capital club will return to winning ways in the national championship this weekend. Robert Navarro is back from suspension, while all Luis Hernandez, Brian Ocampo, and Fede San Emeterio continue to miss out with injuries. Momo Mbaye is a major doubt and he will be assessed ahead of the kick-off.

His road to prominence was a long one, however, and Djene had to bide his time in order to be recognized for quality he undoubtedly possesses. Dapaong-born Togolese international, Djene Dakonam made his first football steps as a youth member of Etoile Filante.
Spells in Benin and Cameroon with Tonnerre d’Abomey and Coton Sport, respectively, saw Djene Dakonam grab attention of Alcoron, who moved in to bring him to Spain in 2014. During two years in Spain Djene Dakonam made 59 league appearances before moving to Sint-Truidense. It was in Belgium that Djene Dakonam proved his defensive versatility and Getafe came calling the very next year, in 2017.
Djene proved to be an instant hit with the Azulones and is hoping a move to one of Europe’s biggest clubs will not be too far away for him. The likes of Arsenal and Tottenham have been sniffing around him during the summer transfer window in 2018 but were ultimately scared off by his £31 million release clause.

Cadiz is a professional La Liga club that plays home games at Estadio Ramon de Caranza. The capacity of the stadium is 20,724 people, and it was opened back in September 1955. El Submarino Amarillo are well known for their yellow shirts, with the team wearing blue jerseys when playing on the travels.
The club was founded back on Sepember 8, 1910, with the team facing local rivals Cadiz Sporting Club in their first ever official match. Cadiz currently compete in la liga, with the team securing promotion to the Spanish top flight at the end of the 2019/20 season following a 15-year absence.
