Girona and Mallorca go head to head at Estadio Municipal de Montilivi in the opening match of Saturday’s program. The Catalan outfit could not have wished for a better start to the season, with the team climbing to third place in the standings thanks to a thrilling 4-2 win at Granada. Girona are brimming with confidence ahead of the visit of Mallorca and it is no wonder the odds for home win have been dropping.
Even though all Arnau Martinez, Borja Garcia, Joel Roca Casals, Ricard Artero, and Toni Villa remain in the recovery room, home win should be considered as the Catalans looked sharp in front of goal in the last league match. Los Bermellones, on the other hand, are not regarded as good travellers and we do not believe that they are capable of grabbing something from the round 6 clash. Predrag Rajkovic is a professional footballer who plays for Stade Reims and the Serbian National team. Born on the 31st of October, 1995, the Serbian goalkeeper spent his youth career with Hajduk Velijko and Jagodina before signing a professional contract, his first, with the latter in 2012.
His first professional appearance came on the 9th of March, 2013, in a Serbian Superliga match against Partizan. A two-year stint at Red Star Belgrade succeeded Rajkovic's time at Jagodina, after which he moved to Israel to join Maccabi Tel Aviv in 2015. At Aviv, the six-foot-tall established himself as a first-team regular, and in his four-year spell at the club, he made 192 appearances, kept 90 clean sheets and won the Toto Cup.
The 24-year old now plays in Ligue one with Stade Reims and is on a contract that expires in 2023. At the International level, Rajkovic is a former youth international and has capped at every youth level for Serbia. He made his senior team debut meanwhile on the 14th of August, 2013, in a friendly match against Colombia.

After several unsuccessful attempts, finally secured promotion to Primera Division at the end of the 2016/2017 season. The Catalan outfit finished the campaign in second place in the standings, 14 points behind Levante and only two clear of third-placed Getafe. Girona play their home games at Montilivi and the capacity of the venue is 9.286.
Speaking of the club history, Girona were founded in the café Norat in La Rambla of Girona on July 23, 1930 and they played their first official game against Colonia Artigas. A number of Spanish coaches were in charge of the team in the past, but it has to be noted that Uruguayan tactician Dagoberto Moll (1965/1966) and Karoly Plattko (1948/1949) of Hungary were in charge of the club as well.
