Our prediction for this Primera Division match:
Estadio de Gran Canaria will host Saturday’s La Liga game between Las Palmas and Villarreal. La Union Deportiva failed to win the previous four league matches and, as a result, they are sitting in the danger zone ahead of the visit of Villarreal. Experienced forward Jaime Mata serves a one-game ban, while talented midfielder Dario Essugo is back from suspension.
Marcelino’s troops, on the other hand, faced no difficulties in a 5-1 win over Real Valladolid. As Villarreal have been in a much better form of late than Las Palmas, we believe that there is a big value in betting on the visiting team. Speaking of the away team, talented forward Thierno Barry is widely expected to return to the starting XI, while Marcelino has no fresh injury worries. Both Alfonso Pedraza and Ilias Akhomach remain on the sidelines with injuries for the away side.
Highlighted Player (Nicolas Pépé):

Born in France to parents of Ivorian descent, Nicolas Pepe became a full Ivory Coast international in 2016. In a symbolic twist of events, Pepe was handed his Ivory Coast debut in a goalless draw against his birth nation France days after receiving his first-ever call-up.
Pepe began his career in the lower leagues in Poitiers in 2012, before moving to Angers a year later. Having proven his qualities in the second-string side, Pepe was instated in Angers’ first team in 2013. Four years later – which included a season-long loan spell at Orleans – Nicolas Pepe was transferred to Lille. Les Dogues beat several sides to the signature of this pacey winger who is no stranger to scoring goals. Quick with his feet, Pepe can be deployed on the right wing and as a centre-forward.
The Ivory Coast international is unpredictable in his movement and not easy to keep an eye on, especially because of his powerful left foot.
Highlighted Team (Las Palmas):

Las Palmas are a Spanish football club based in the Canary Islands. The club was founded on 22 August, 1949. Los Amarillos play in Spanish La Liga and the team’s home ground is Estadio Gran Canaria. The stadium was opened in 2003 and it’s current capacity is 32,150. Miguel Angel Ramirez is the club’s chairman and the club’s main rivals are Tenerife.
Las Palmas impressed in the 2015/2016 La liga campaign, with the team finishing the season in 11th place in the standings. However, it has to be noted that los Amarillos finished the 1968/1969 Primera Division campaign in second place in the table, 11 points behind Spanish giants Real Madrid.
Speaking of Copa del Rey, Las Palmas made it to the final of the Spanish Cup in 1978. Las Palmas eliminated Sporting Gijon in the semis (5-3), but Barcelona outplayed los Amarillos in the title game (3-1).
