Our prediction for this Primera Division match:
Osasuna and Getafe take on each other at Estadio El Sadar in the Primera Division round 21. Los Rojillos failed to upset Barcelona in the Spanish Super Cup semis, but the bookies see them as slim favourites to beat los Azulones in front of home fans. As Johan Mojica has overcome his injury, Jagoba Arrasate should have a full squad to choose from for Sunday’s encounter. The 45-year-old tactician should stick to the 5-3-2 formation.
The visitors, on the other hand, were not in action in the national championship at the weekend. Getafe, though, head into the match with a severely-weakened squad, which is probably the main reason why we are going to put our money on the home side. All Mason Greenwood, Damian Suarez, Juanmi Latasa, and Jaime Mata are banned for the match, while Mauro Arambarri misses out with injury. Djene should be recalled to the starting XI.
Highlighted Player (David Garcia):
David Garcia is a Spanish player who started his youth career at Maspalomas. After making 65 appearances for Vecindario in lower leagues, he joined Las Palmas in 2003. David Garcia is a centre back, but he is capable of playing as a right back if needed. He was born on 25 February, 1982 and it is more than obvious that he dedicated his football career to Las Palmas.
Garcia made his professional debut in September, 2013 in a 2-1 victory at Elche. However, he made no more than seven league appearances for Las Palmas in the 2003/2004 season. David Garcia, though, quickly established himself as a first-team regular and it has to be noted that he played 394 league games for los Amarillos until the 2016/2017 season.
He made 37 appearances for Las Palmas in the 2014/2015 Segunda Division campaign, helping the team secure promotion to the Spanish top flight, but he played no more than 19 games for the club in the 2015/2016 Primera Division campaign. His contract with Las Palmas expires on 30 June, 2017.
