Our prediction for this Primera Division match:
After suffering a 2-0 loss to Sevilla at the weekend, Osasuna will be looking to regain their spot in top five when they host Real Sociedad to their Estadio El Sadar. Los Rojillos are enjoying yet another successful season, but the local derby will be anything but a walk in the park for the hosts. All Sergio Herrera, Aridane Hernandez, and Jonas Ramalho are sidelined with injuries, but there are no suspended players in the home team.
La Real, on the other hand, aim to retain top position in the standings. David Silva and Co. are eager to stay in the title race, and given Osasuna’s anything but good home record, away win should be considered. Even though important winger Mikel Oyarzabal remains in the recovery room, we are tempted to put our money on the visiting side.
Highlighted Player (Roberto Torres):
After scoring 23 goals in 132 appearances for Osasuna B, Roberto Torres made his first-team debut on 11 December 2011. He came as a substitute in a 1-1 draw with Malaga, but he played no more than two league games for los Rojillos in the 2011/2012 La Liga campaign. However, he was making progress year by year and he made 42 appearances for Osasuna in the 2015/2016 Segunda Division campaign.
Roberto Torres is one of the players who helped the team secure promotion to Primera Division and it has to be noted that the midfielder scored 12 goals in the 2015/2016 season.
Roberto Torres’ contract with Osasuna expires in 2018. The 178-cm-tall player was born in Pamplona, on 7 March, 1989. His main position is attacking midfielder, but he is capable of playing as a central midfielder as well.
