Our prediction for this Primera Division match:
Following back-to-back losses to Barcelona and Villarreal, Rayo Vallecano will look to return to winning ways when they take on Sevilla on Matchday 26. Los Vallecanos have been struggling offensively of late, but they are surely capable of matching Sevilla in the suburbs of Madrid. Jorge de Frutos is banned for the match and with key player Isi Palazon suffering a serious injury at the weekend, home win should not be considered.
Los Sevillanos, on the other hand, dropped two points in a 1-1 draw with Mallorca and given their difficulties on the road, share of spoils is on the horizon. There are no fresh injury worries in the Andalusian side, but all Adams, Lokonga, Nianzou, and Peque should miss out Saturday’s encounter. Earlier this season, Sevilla defeated Rayo 1-0 at Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan and yet another low-scoring affair is on the horizon.
