Our prediction for this Primera Division match:
Real Sociedad will be aiming to build on a 2-1 win over Granada when they welcome Leganes at their Reale Arena on Friday evening. The Basques did well to beat high-flying Granada in Andalusia in their last league match, with the team climbing to the third position in the standings. La Real are level on points with La Liga giants Barcelona and Real Madrid ahead of Matchday 13, and they must be high on confidence ahead of the visit of Leganes.
The capital club, on the other hand, experienced all sorts of problems at the back in back-to-back defeats to the likes of Real Madrid and Eibar, which is yet another reason why we are tempted to put our money on Imanol Alguacil’s troops. In their last meeting in the Basque Country, Real Sociedad recorded a routine 3-0 victory over Leganes.
Highlighted Player (Willian José):

Well-travelled Brazilian international Willian Jose was born in Porto Calvo and made his first football steps at a local Clube de Regatas. It was at the age of 17 that he was snapped by Gremio Barueri where he made 26 league appearances and scored six goal in his first – and only – senior season at the club.
In 2011, Willian Jose moved to Deportivo Maldonado but his five-year stint with the Uruguay outfit was marked by no less than seven different loan spells, one of which was to La Liga heavyweights Real Madrid. Standing at 186cm tall, Willian Jose is a notable presence in the box. This powerful centre forward will use his physicality to hold up ball and bring his teammates into play.
The Brazilian international did well to make a name for himself in Spain by playing for Zaragoza and Las Palmas, respectively, before he sealed a permanent move to Real Sociedad in 2016. A member of both FIFA U-20 World Cup and South American Youth Championship winning sides with Brazil in 2011, Willian Jose has not been given a chance to prove his worth at the senior level with Selecao.
Highlighted Team (Leganes):

Leganes are a Spanish football club that have mostly been playing in lower leagues. Los Pepineros play their home games at Batarque (Madrid) and the capacity of the stadium is just 8,138. Leganes secured their promotion to the Spanish La Liga for the first time ever in 2016 and, no doubt, that is considered the club’s biggest success.
Leganes’ bitterest rivals are fellow capital club Getafe and there have always been fireworks when the two teams take on each other in the South Madrid derby.
The colour of the team’s home kit is white and blue, whilst their away kits are green. The likes of Pierre Webo, Samuel Eto’o, Ivan Zarandona, Jose Chamot, Catanha, Ruben Falcon, Jordi Lardin and Pedro Lago are famous players who were part of the Batarque outfit in the past. Lady Maria Victoria Pavon is the first female president in the history of the club and she has been in charge of the club since 2009.
