Our prediction for this Scottish Premiership match:
Aberdeen play host to Ross County at their Pittodrie Stadium in what is expected to be an interesting Premiership game. The Dons desperately needed a win against Motherwell before the international break and they managed to get one, with the team putting an end to their four-game losing run in the Scottish top flight. Nicky Devlin should be fit for Saturday’s clash despite limping off with injury against Motherwell, while midfielder Slobodan Rubezic remains in the recovery room.
Meanwhile, the Staggies aim to build on a hard-fought 2-1 win over Hearts. Ross County, though, are on a four-game losing run on the road, which is probably the main reason why we are going to bet on Aberdeen, who have regained a much-needed confidence. As for the visiting team, all Will Nightingale, Dylan Smith, and Ross Callachan are out of contention with injuries, but there are no suspended players in the away team.
Highlighted Team (Aberdeen):
Nicknamed the Dons, Aberdeen are professional football club that compete in the Scottish Premiership. Pittodrie Stadium is the club’s home ground, and it can hold up to 20,866 spectators. The Dons were one of the dominant forces in Scottish football during Sir Alex Ferguson’s era, with the team winning three Scottish League titles from 1980 to 1985.
However, Aberdeen clinched their first domestic trophy in the 1954/55 season, with the team finishing the process three points clear of Scottish giants Celtic. The club’s biggest success came in the 1982/83 season when they defeated the famous Spanish club Real Madrid 2-1 in the title game. Later in 1983, Aberdeen won the UEFA Super Cup as they defeated Hamburger SV 2-0 at Volksparkstadion.
The Dons are well known for their red home kit, while away shirt has a shiny gold base colour. Inverness Caledonian are considered one of the club’s biggest rivals, with the two teams facing each other in the North derby.
