Our prediction for this Scottish Premiership match:
Fir Park will host Saturday’s football game between Motherwell and Aberdeen. The Well aim to make amends for back-to-back losses to Hibernian and Rangers, and we are positive that they will go all guns blazing at the Dons. Both Rolando Aarons and Nathan McGinley are out of contention with injuries, but there are no suspended players in the home team. Aberdeen, on the other hand, quickly bounced back from a heavy 4-0 loss to Dundee United, with the team beating Hearts 2-0 on home soil.
The Dons, though, have been anything but brilliant on the road this season, which is probably the main reason why we are going to put our money on draw. In their last meeting at the venue the two sides played out a 1-1 draw, and we predict that the history is going to repeat itself. Midfielder Callum Roberts should be the only absentee in the away side.
Highlighted Player (Josh Morris):
Josh Morris is a product of Blackburn Rovers football school who plays for Fleetwood Town in the League One. Morris’ main position is left midfielder, but he is capable of playing as both left-back and central midfielder as well.
The English footballer started his senior career at Blackburn Rovers and he played for the likes of Yeovil Town, Rotherham United, Carlisle United and Fleetwood Town on loan before moving to Bradford City in the summer of 2015. Josh Morris, though, found his best form at Scunthorpe United, scoring 35 goals in 107 appearances for the club in the league.
Before the start of the 2018/2019 League One season Morris re-joined Fleetwood Town, signing a two-year contract with the Fishermen. Josh Morris scored his first goal of the season in a 3-1 win over Peterborough United at Weston Homes Stadium. His contract with Fleetwood Town should expire on June 30, 2021.
Highlighted Team (Aberdeen):
Nicknamed the Dons, Aberdeen are professional football club that compete in the Scottish Premiership. Pittodrie Stadium is the club’s home ground, and it can hold up to 20,866 spectators. The Dons were one of the dominant forces in Scottish football during Sir Alex Ferguson’s era, with the team winning three Scottish League titles from 1980 to 1985.
However, Aberdeen clinched their first domestic trophy in the 1954/55 season, with the team finishing the process three points clear of Scottish giants Celtic. The club’s biggest success came in the 1982/83 season when they defeated the famous Spanish club Real Madrid 2-1 in the title game. Later in 1983, Aberdeen won the UEFA Super Cup as they defeated Hamburger SV 2-0 at Volksparkstadion.
The Dons are well known for their red home kit, while away shirt has a shiny gold base colour. Inverness Caledonian are considered one of the club’s biggest rivals, with the two teams facing each other in the North derby.
