Our prediction for this Segunda Division match:
Almeria will be aiming to build on a hard-fought 1-0 win over Girona when they take on Alcorcon in the Segunda Division round 29. Almeria are determined to secure automatic promotion to La Liga, but they will have to be at their sharpest in the remainder of the season if they are to turn the dream into reality. Umar Sadiq, who scored his 14th goal of the season at the weekend, will be the man to watch in the home side.
Alcorcon, on the other hand, rolled over Mirandes 4-0 in their last league match, but Almeria will pose a much bigger threat for the visitors than their previous rivals. Since the Andalusians are on a three-game winning run at home ground, we predict that los Alfareros are going to return home empty-handed. Jimenez Xisco scored a brace in the crushing of Mirandes, meaning that Almeria defenders should have him at bay.
