Our prediction for this Segunda Division match:
Following an unfortunate 1-0 loss at Alcorcon, Burgos will be aiming to record their third win of the season when they take on Lugo at Estadio El Plantio. The newcomers are likely to rely on their rock-solid defence in the relegation six-pointer, meaning that yet another low-scoring affair is on the horizon. Both Navarro and Berjon are pushing for a start. Lugo, on the other hand, defeated Girona thanks to Manuel Barreiro’s late goal.
Since under 2.5 goals have been netted in each of Lugo’s previous three league fixtures, we believe that this betting option should be considered. Aforementioned attacker Barreiro is widely expected to return to the starting XI after coming as a substitute in the triumph over Girona. When the two teams met in a friendly three months ago they played out a goalless draw.
