Our prediction for this Segunda Division match:
Deportivo La Coruna will be aiming to extend their unbeaten run in the new La Liga 2 campaign when they face Sporting Gijon on Matchday 4. The Galicians have a chance to climb to the playoffs berth and we are positive that they will go all guns blazing at los Rojiblancos. Summer signing Samuele Mulattieri is widely expected to return to the starting XI after scoring as a substitute in a 2-2 draw with Leganes, with Stoichkov pushing for a start as well.
Sporting Gijon, on the other hand, enjoyed a successful preseason and they continue with excellent displays in the new Segunda Division campaign. Deportivo, though, are tough to beat at “Riazor”, which is probably the main reason why we are going to place our bets on draw. Asier Garitano is unlikely to make changes to the team that defeated Cultural Leonesa at the weekend.
