Our prediction for this Segunda Division match:
Buoyed by back-to-back wins over Granada and Burgos, Eibar will look to give fans yet another reason to celebrate when they face Cordoba on Matchday 41. Los Armeros have been producing fine performances in the season finale, but that will not help them book their spot in the Segunda Division playoffs. Experienced defender Chema is back from suspension, while the likes of Alkain, Comas, Madariaga, Nolaskoain, and Troncho are expected to miss out with injuries.
Los Alfareros, on the other hand, aim to make amends for back-to-back losses to Burgos and Mirandes. Cordoba and Eibar are almost level on points in Segunda Division standings, but with Eibar being in a much better form of Cordoba, we are tempted to place our bets on the home side. Midfielder Jacobo Gonzalez is banned for the visiting team, while Marvel is likely to replace Ruben Alves in the starting XI as the later limped off with injury in the last league match.
