Our prediction for this Segunda Division match:
Following six consecutive draws in Segunda Division, Sporting Gijon will look to return to winning ways when they host Albacete to their Estadio El Molinon. Los Rojiblancos are stuck in the middle of the table, ten points behind the playoffs berth and, no doubt, the team’s new goal is to secure the Segunda Division survival. Midfielder Carlos Dotor is in line for a recall to the starting XI after scoring as a substitute in a 1-1 draw with Cordoba, while Nacho Mendez is back from suspension.
El Queso Mecanico, meanwhile, did well to make amends for a 1-0 loss to Burgos, with the team beating Malaga 2-0 in front of home fans. Albacete, though, are on a three-game losing run on the road and we do not believe that they are capable of spoiling Sporting Gijon’s party at Estadio El Molinon. To make things even worse for the away team, both Kofane and Pacheco are banned for the match.
