Our prediction for this Segunda Division match:
Sporting Gijon will be aiming to recover from a 1-0 loss to Deportivo La Coruna when they take on Burgos on Sunday evening. Los Rojiblancos have been impressive at home ground this season, with the team beating both Cordoba and Cultural Leonesa, which is surely fuelling fans with optimism ahead of Burgos’ visit. It has to be noted, though, that all Bernal, Cortes, and Loum are out of contention for the home side.
Luis Miguel Ramis’ men, on the other hand, continue with their old habit of producing fine performances at home, while struggling on the travels and that is the main reason why we are going to bet on Sporting Gijon. Forward Inigo Cordoba continues to miss out with injury for the visiting team. In their last meeting at “El Molinon”, Sporting Gijon defeated Burgos 2-0 and we predict that history is going to repeat itself.
