Our prediction for this Segunda Division match:
Sporting Gijon will be aiming to make amends for a 2-1 loss to Levante when they take on Eldense on Saturday afternoon. Los Rojiblancos failed to impress in the season opener, but they are still seen as favourites to beat Eldense in front of home fans. Forward Jordy Caicedo remains in the recovery room, but he should be the only absentee in the home team. Nacho Mendez is a major doubt after limping off with injury in the defeat to los Levantinos.
The visitors, on the other hand, did well to beat Tenerife 2-1 in front of home fans, but they will have a much bigger fish to fry at Estadio El Molinon. In their last meeting at the venue Gijon defeated Eldense 2-0 and we predict that history is going to repeat itself. There are no fresh injury worries in the away team.
